Open Meet 2008

Message from Weston Swimming Club Chairman and Meet Organiser

I would like to  personally thank, on behalf of Weston Swimming Club, Spectators, Visiting Clubs and Competing Swimmers, all Helpers and Officials who gave up part or all of their weekend to assist in the running of our Easter Open Meet for 2008.  Without their assistance the Meet could not have run as smoothly as it did.  Initial feed back received during the weekend indicates that it was enjoyed by all and ran well.

As a Club we would also like to thank all Clubs and Competitors that entered and helped to make the Meet a success.  Without your support there would be no Meet.  We looked forward to your support next year.

We had planned that next year we would be running a Card less Meet, indications from Club Coaches dictate otherwise and requested that we remain with Cards.  We value any feedback from Competitors, Spectators and Coaches from any element of the Meet and would be grateful if you could take time out to send us your views so that we can improve for next year.
